Refund and Returns Information
We hope that you are pleased with your purchase from discount-equestrian.co.uk. sometimes however, there will be reasons why you wish to return your goods.
Please note that there are certain occasions where returns will not be accepted. This is the case with any product which has been customised or has been specifically made to your requirements. Products subject to this policy are clearly marked in the description as being bespoke and therefore not subject to refund or exchange. Please note that riding hats and skulls are sold on the specific understanding that they are non returnable. These items work on the principle of one save and then discard. Once a riding hat leaves our care we are unable to have the absolute assurance they have not been used and involved in an accident. For that reason we hope you will understand our rule. This does not affect your statutory rights
Please simply take care when deciding if items are suitable for you or your horse.

You will note that on the bottom of your paperwork there is a returns slip. Simply fill in the item code and reason for return and send back to us, providing the goods:
* arrive with us with in 7 days of the date they arrive with you,
* are unsoiled, e.g. Dirt or horse hair on a rug that arrives back with us is then unsalable as brand new, or dirt/mud on the soles of a pair of boots also makes them unsalable. Dirty finger marks or food stains on items.
* undamaged, e.g. Scratches on leather products such as bridles, girths and boots caused from being fitted and size being checked.
* and have not been personalised or customised in any way.
Please make a note of the returns reference number and return it with your goods.

Distance Selling Regulations
If your order has been placed via the telephone or internet, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item. This does not include - CD's, DVD's or software that have been opened/unsealed.
Underwear - for personal hygiene reasons
Earrings - for personal hygiene reasons
Riding Hats - as we cannot guarantee the integrity of the hat once it leaves us as damage is not always visible and this is a safety product
To ensure you are refunded the total cost for the products excluding the original postage you must contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 working days (not including weekends or public holidays) after the day your order was received.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the items to us and must take good care of the goods whilst they are in your possession.
*This does not apply to part order cancellations.
Goods Faulty Within 6 Months
If you are reporting faulty goods within 6 months of receipt you maybe entitled to a repair or a replacement. If we can not do either of these we will refund your money but if the products have been used we may deduct a percentage for you benefiting from this use.
Goods Faulty After 6 Months
After 6 months of receipt provided your product is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair or replacement.
Please note that the cost of returning these items is the responsibility of the customer.
1. Re-package the goods, preferably in the packaging materials originally used, include a copy of the invoice or a note detailing your contact details and original invoice number
2. Return the goods to us and please ensure that you obtain a receipt for your postage and a certificate of posting and consider insuring your parcel against loss or damage.
Note: In the unlikely event that you are not happy with the quality of a purchased product or that it should become damaged, we recommend that you cease use immediately and return the item for our inspection, following the procedure above. Please note that damaged and soiled items will be subject to inspection before a refund will be authorised. Cheque refunds will be made in the name of the original customer. If goods were originally paid for by Credit/Debit Card a refund will be made directly to the card account of the person who originally paid for the goods.
