Whether you're schooling round your local cross country course of a 4* eventer the products you need are fairly similar. Leg Protection for your horse - Cross Country fences are unforgivving and your horse or pony can end up with a nasty injury if they are not properly protected. We would advise event boots which have been specifically designed to be tough.
Leg Grease - Whilst not essential at lower levels this product helps a horse glide over a fence if they happen to get a bit too close to it. It can help prevent a nasty knock.
Number Bib - Whilst some events provide these its always nice to have your own.
Medical Arm Band - These are essential for most events and are strapped to your upper arm, they provide emergency medical information about you should you have a fall on course and need medical treatment.
Cross Country Colours - Not essential but great if you want to look the part. We offer a range of custom cross country colours from Equetech in both childs and adult sizes - there is also the option to have a matching hat silk made
Event Watch - These are used to keep time as you make your way around the course and help you to acheive the optimum time and avoid time penaltys
Electrolytes - Essential for after cross country. These are available in both liquid and powder form and replace the essential mineral salts (electrolytes) which are lost during exercise when the horse sweats. Fatigue as well as muscle, bone and cartilage damage can be avoided by replacing the essential salts of sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride and magnesium.
Muscle Wash - Help your horse by giving him a soothing muscle wash after he's finished. By cooling down the muscles and washing away dirt and sweat your horse wil recover more quickly
