A leather cleaner would be recommended.

can you ride in these boots?

Due to them having a heel you would be able to but these are country footwear which are not designed to be ridden in.

Where are these boots made please?

They are manufactured in India.

Is the drawstring functional

The string has a slight give in it but its more for show than functional to make the top of the boot smaller
