Description
These Lorina Rubber Bit Guards are supplied in pairs. They are used to help prevent the horses bit from rubbing or pinching the lips. They are also called rubber cheek guards and they are available in black, brown or white. The easiest way to fit these to a bit is to soak them in warm water to soften the rubber and then use two pieces of bailing twine or cord to pull open the hole. Then apply vaseline to the bit and it will slide through the hole. If you are interested in bit guards you may also be interested in the Acavallo Gel Bit Guards which are softer and much easier to put on
