Pig Oil for Horses

Although synonymous with the management of mud fever, Pig Oil actually has a surprising number of uses! Horse Pig Oil products are densely saturated with minerals. Pig Oil has an oily consistency that’s been relied upon for centuries to treat various health issues, suffered by horses and livestock, such as mud fever and mites.

Pig Oil is often used on heavier breeds of horses due to many having more feathers, but it can also be effective on those with less feather as it gets through the hair, right down to the skin.

Pig Oil and Sulphur

You will notice Pig Oil and Sulphur products in our category. The Sulphur is an anti-bacterial ingedient which is also known and available as sulphur powder. Sulphur has a bright yellow colour and has been used to support skin health for hundreds of years. This is not restricted to Mud Fever, Sulphur is also used to support other skin issues too.
