Delivery and Shipping Information
We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible, we offer a number of parcel delivery options to choose from. We work with Royal Mail, UK Mail and My Hermes depending on your location.
You will receive an email with tracking information once your order dispatches.
Collect in Store (Free) - Our Store situated in Elwick TS27 3EL is open 7 days a week. Once your order is ready for collection we will contact you via text or email to let you know. This is typically 1-3 days.
UK Standard Delivery £4.50 – (FREE on purchases over £45.00) - We aim to have your parcel to you within 1-5 working days (Mon - Fri). If you live in Highlands and Islands or Northern Ireland delivery may take 1-2 days longer.
UK Express Delivery £7.50 – (£4.50 on purchases over £45.00) We provide a 24-48hr express service on many items if order is placed before 3pm Monday to Friday. Items available for Express Delivery are identified on the relevant product pages along with basket and checkout pages. We will dispatch your parcel on a 24hr next business day service (Mon - Fri) using either courier or Royal Mail. Saturday delivery is available on certain items at the cost of £18.00.
We cannot be held responsible should the delivery company for any reason fail to deliver the parcel to the delivery address used on your order on the scheduled day.
We may only be able to provide a 48hr service to some areas of Highlands and Islands.
Part Ship – We provide a Part Ship option at checkout should your basket contain both items available for Express Delivery and other items only available for Standard Delivery. If you choose the Part Ship option, we will dispatch available Express Items on a next business day express service and follow on with other items on UK Standard Delivery service.
Long or Bulky Items, UK Deliveries – We try and keep delivery costs to a minimum. Unfortunately, certain items we supply are too long or bulky for the standard delivery network and incur an additional charge of £4.50.
We identify these as Long or Bulky items to you on the relevant product pages, the basket page and checkout page. If a Bulky item is found in your basket, the charge is automatically added as Bulky Item Charge to your cart totals breakdown, removing the relevant item/s from your basket will remove the bulky item charge. For example, Long and Bulky Items include certain Wheel Barrows, Hose Booms, Whips 1.2m+ and some Shavings Forks.
A maximum of one bulky item charge is applied to your order.
Liquids and Aerosols - Unfortunately, we are unable to ship any liquids, aerosols or compressed Air Jacket canisters to all destinations outside of mainland UK as these destinations typically use air travel, there is a likelihood that parcels containing these items will be stopped by customs.
Long or Bulky Items - We are unable to dispatch items identified as Long or Bulky on the product, basket or checkout pages to any destination outside of mainland UK, these products for example would include Wheel Barrows, Hose Booms, Shavings Forks etc. We identify these Long and Bulky items to you on the relevant product pages and also on the basket and checkout pages.
Deliveries to Europe
Typically, will dispatch from us within 1-3 days and can sometimes take up to 10 days to reach you depending on destination. Please note that at busy times dispatch from ourselves can take up to 5 days.

Europe Zone 3 £29.00 - Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Swizerland, Lichtenstein
Europe Zone 4 £35.00 - Gibraltar, Lithuania, Romania
Rest of the World - Quote Me
We aim to offer the best possible service along with rates for delivery to anywhere in the world. If your address at checkout is outside of Europe you will see the Rest of the World – Quote Me option for £4.50. Once your order has been received and is ready to ship we will weigh and measure your parcel and search for the best possible price for delivery - if you have a preferred courier please let us know and we will try to accomodate your request, then email a PayPal invoice for the remaining delivery cost.
Should you wish to have a cost before placing your order please contact us via email with a list of the items you would like and your address.
Deliveries to Rest of the World destinations (outside of Europe) will typically dispatch from us within 1-3 days however at busy times dispatch can take up to 5 days once additional shipping charges have been paid. Although deliveries are usually much quicker, please allow up to 14 working days from dispatch for your parcel to reach you. International deliveries can be subject to extra delays. Discount Equestrian cannot be held responsible for delays, for example due to customs checks or local courier or mail service delays in your country who will typically carry out the final leg of your parcels journey. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order dispatches. We are unable to intercept or cancel deliveries throughout their journey.
We will always attempt to source the lowest price from our list of reputable international couriers. If you have a preferred courier which you would like us to use please email us and we will do our best to accomodate this.
For orders shipping to destinations outside of the EU, we will automatically remove any applicable UK Vat at 20% from your order amount at checkout. Remember, there is no VAT to remove on certain items such as Supplements and Children’s clothing including certain riding hats up to and including size 55cm.
