CLOP® stands for ‘Cod Liver Oil Powered Supplement’. The All Purpose Cod Liver Oil Powered Supplement is fully balanced as it contains vitamins and minerals essential for your horse’s diet. This supplement’s formulation is rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and polyunsaturated fats, all of which benefit coat condition and skin health.

As well as their cod liver oil all purpose supplement, CLOP® produces their own Liquid Calmer. This calmer is particularly beneficial for horses who become nervous or excitable in response to environmentally induced stressors. Liquid Calmer is readily absorbed so is fast acting. However, please note that CLOP® Liquid Calmer contains valerian – despite its use for centuries in both human and horse supplements to ease anxiety, valerian use for equines is on the FEI Prohibited Substances List. As explained by the FEI: “The FEI has published a warning regarding the use of supplements (including herbal supplements) and products of which the ingredients are unknown. Any substances which affects the performance of a horse in a calming (tranquillising) or an energising (stimulant) manner and which contain a Prohibited Substance are forbidden. Athletes should also be aware that the use of a calming product during competition may also have important safety consequences.”
