The use of buckets in our everyday lives as horse owners often goes without a thought. However, as horse owners we rely on buckets, tubs and mangers to fulfil our horse’s requirements. There are a number of uses for buckets, tubs and mangers when it comes to horses, as follows…

The action of reaching down to eat forage as opposed to reaching up to a haynet not only mimics a horse’s grazing instincts, but the use of a manger also prevents dust falling from a haynet; which can in some cases irritate a sensitive horse’s eyes and nose – in the long term this can lead to respiratory issues and dust allergies.
