The Bucas Smartex Extra Turnout Rug ris made using two technically advanced layers of fabric. The Bucas Smartex Extra Turnout Rugs have a Stay-Dry lining for the horse, this provides excellent comfort for your horse at both lower and higher temperatures. The Smartex is suitable for a broader range of temperatures more than other rugs of similar weight. The ability of a Bucas Smartex Extra rug to keep your horse comfortable through large temperature ranges is a huge selling point of the rug, particularly useful when the temperature fluctuates throughout the day and night and in most cases removes the worry of your horse being too warm or too cold. The recommended temperature range for an unclipped horse in a 300g Smartex Extra Rug is -20 to +10 degrees Celsius, for a fully clipped horse it is -10 to +20 degrees Celsius providing the utmost flexibility throughout most of the year. The Stay Dry Lining is also particularly useful for a wet or sweaty horse in the same way as a sweat rug. The Smartex Stay Dry Lining will quickly transfer moisture away, quickly drying the horse which also means the rug can be left on and horse turned out avoiding extra rug changes. The Smartex Rug uses a Ballistic Nylon outer which provides incredible strength and has a high quality waterproof breathable coating. The Smartex rug features the easy to use Bucas 'Click n Go' closure system which uses a patented Stainless Steel buckle that can be closed and opened easily in one easy movement. This provides a particularly secure method of fastening the rug which is also aided by additional front velcro panels and straps.

• The Smartex rug has shoulder darts for extra room and movement and the shoulder areas are also lined with soft nylon to prevent rubs.
• The overlapping double layered front panel also has padding to provide more comfort and protection against rubs.
