Softer than body brushes, face brushes are gentle enough to clean your horse’s delicate face without friction or abrasion, enhancing their coat with a glossy shine. Face brushes are especially helpful when encouraging head-shy horses to trust having their face brushed, as well as cleaning loose hair from a horse’s face, legs, and other sensitive areas such as the girth area, before, during, and after clipping. Many face brushes are manufactured using goat hair, because the fibres within it ensure a naturally soft yet effective cleaning action.
