Your hoof care regime starts with simply cleaning out your horse’s feet with a hoof pick and a brush which gives you the opportunity to check for any signs of infection or bad smells in the frog or any damage or brittleness to the hoof wall itself.  The earlier you pick up on potential problems and inform your farrier or vet the better.
