Joules® began in 1989 when Tom Joule started selling clothing on a stand at a country show in Leicestershire. He discovered there was no balance between style and practicality in the clothing he saw in town, city and countryside.

Many Joules® garments would have an element of surprise added in, such as a purposefully mismatched button, a contrast colour hiding underneath a collar, or even a printed lining. Delivering quality and fun, Joules® want to allow families to enjoy time together without compromising on the quality of their clothing. Joules® also cater for furry family members, as they create high-quality pet products such as pet beds, pet clothing, leads and other accessories, available from Discount Equestrian.

“Our ambition is to use 100% sustainable cotton by 2022. We support the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), which exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.”

* Members of the Leather Working Group (LWG)

“LWG is an independent group of tanneries, brands and chemical suppliers that has worked to develop and maintain best practices and auditing protocol for the leather manufacturing industry.”

“Our goal is to source 100% of our leather from LWG certified tanneries by the end of 2020.”
