They are strong enough to offer a good degree of protection against rear impacts, covering the tendons and ligaments in the area. They are not as strong as high-end tendon boots, which are the favourite among show jumpers. However, brushing boots for horses offer similar protection to entry-level tendon boots, and their average price is considerably lower. They are an excellent choice for daily training, including flat work and jumping.
