UK Deliveries

Collect in Store (Free) - Our Store situated in Elwick TS27 3EL is open 7 days a week.  Once your order is ready for collection we will contact you via text or email to let you know.  This is typically 1-3 days.

UK Standard Delivery £4.50 – (FREE on purchases over £45.00) - We aim to have your parcel to you within 1-5 working days (Mon - Fri).  If you live in Highlands and Islands or Northern Ireland delivery may take 1-2 days longer. 

UK Express Delivery £7.50 – (£4.50 on purchases over £45.00) We provide a 24-48hr express service on many items if order is placed before 3pm Monday to Friday.  Items available for Express Delivery are identified on the relevant product pages along with basket and checkout pages.  We will dispatch your parcel on a 24hr next business day service (Mon - Fri) using either courier or Royal Mail.  Saturday delivery is available on certain items at the cost of £18.00. 

We cannot be held responsible should the delivery company for any reason fail to deliver the parcel to the delivery address used on your order on the scheduled day. 

We may only be able to provide a 48hr service to some areas of Highlands and Islands.

Part Ship – We provide a Part Ship option at checkout should your basket contain both items available for Express Delivery and other items only available for Standard Delivery.  If you choose the Part Ship option, we will dispatch available Express Items on a next business day express service and follow on with other items on UK Standard Delivery service.

Free Express UK Delivery – You will often come across products that include the offer of Free Express Delivery on their product page.  When you purchase these items you will receive either free express delivery or part ship on the other items on your order, whichever is relevant to the products ordered.

Long or Bulky Items, UK Deliveries – We try and keep delivery costs to a minimum.  Unfortunately, certain items we supply are too long or bulky for the standard delivery network and incur an additional charge of £4.50. 

We identify these as Long or Bulky items to you on the relevant product pages, the basket page and checkout page.  If a Bulky item is found in your basket, the charge is automatically added as Bulky Item Charge to your cart totals breakdown, removing the relevant item/s from your basket will remove the bulky item charge.  For example, Long and Bulky Items include certain Wheel Barrows, Hose Booms, Whips 1.2m+ and some Shavings Forks.

A maximum of one bulky item charge is applied to your order.

Deliveries outside of UK

Long or Bulky items as well as liquids and pressurized containers cannot be shipped to overseas destinations. We will highlight these products on product and/or basket pages Read more. 

UK Value Added Tax (VAT) Charges

We will automatically refund any applicable UK Value Added Tax (VAT) from orders shipping to outside of United Kingdom and Isle of Man.  Remember certain items such as childrens clothing and supplements have no UK VAT to remove.

You could be subject to import taxes, duties and fees once your parcel is received in your country. Typically the courier will contact you once the parcel has been received by you country's customs.

Jersey and Guernsey for VAT purposes are considered outside of United Kingdom, so UK Vat will be removed from your order if shipping to these locations.

European Destinations – Fixed price delivery charges

Europe Zone 1 £6.00 - Belgium, Holland (The Netherlands), Luxembourg, Netherlands, France, Germany, Monaco

Europe Zone 2 £9.50 - Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal (excluding Azores and Madeira), Spain (excluding Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla), Sweden

Europe Zone 3 £11.25 - Republic of Ireland, Andorra, Channel Islands (Guernsey + Jersey), Liechtenstein, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland

Europe Zone  4 £16.50 - Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Gibraltar

Rest of the World - Quote Me

If your address at checkout is outside of Europe you will see the Rest of the World – Quote Me option for £20.00.  This charge is enough to cover the vast majority of deliveries to destinations outside of Europe.  If we find that the £20.00 charge is not enough to cover your shipping, we will weigh and measure your parcel and find the best possible price from our couriers, we will then email you a PayPal invoice for the remaining delivery cost.  

Should you wish to have a cost before placing your order please contact us via email with a list of the items you would like and your address.

Deliveries to Rest of the World destinations (outside of Europe) will typically dispatch from us within 1-3 days however at busy times dispatch can take up to 5 days once additional shipping charges have been paid.  Although deliveries are usually much quicker, please allow up to 14 working days from dispatch for your parcel to reach you.    International deliveries can be subject to extra delays.  Discount Equestrian cannot be held responsible for delays, for example due to customs checks or local courier or mail service delays in your country who will typically carry out the final leg of your parcels journey. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order dispatches.  We are unable to intercept or cancel deliveries throughout their journey.

Whether the size is wrong or you just don't like the colour or style, just return any of your items within 28 days of receiving them for either a refund, credit on your account or exchange for another item.
